Talks at Walker’s

Something to talk about….

Here’s a new addition to our evening events. Talks at Walker’s take place every second month on a Thursday evening, and they cover a vast range of topics and subjects. The talks are designed to be both informative, and light hearted, given by experts in their field. Whatever you’re interested in, you’re sure to find out more at Walker’s. These events aren’t stuffy lectures, but a hugely enjoyable social occasion.

Each evening includes a hearty main course, a luxury dessert and tea or coffee (and there’s a licensed bar as well), and then the Talk itself. Over the last few months we’ve heard all about the history of Doncaster’s own Grand Theatre, The vanished Sandhouse, and all about celebrity showbiz gossip, and there are talks on bee-keeping and falconry and many other fascinating subjects to come. We’re nothing if not varied! So, watch this space.

And, of course, where possible, all our food is produced using the finest locally grown and reared award winning products and ingredients.

Tickets are priced at £15.00 per person, with the evening commencing at 7pm and expected to finish between 8:30 – 9pm.
