Deliciouslyorkshire is a brand that has been  specifically created to represent all that is great about food and drink from the Yorkshire and Humber region. The primary aim is to celebrate and promote the distinctiveness, the quality and the huge variety of food and drink that is produced in our region. More and more people want to know where there food is from, and the Deliciouslyorkshire brand tells consumers in an instant that the produce they are going to buy is local, fresh and has full traceability.

At Walker’s Garden Restaurant we fully and proudly support these values and, since joining in November 2009, we have actively sourced the majority of our produce within these important guidelines. We firmly believe it to be important that you, our customers, know precisley where your meal originated. We name all our suppliers in the Yorkshire Bred section of our website, through our Yorkshire Bred Board behind the hot counter in the Garden Restaurant, and on our Yorkshire Bred Shopping List for our special evening events.

We are delighted to tell our customers that we  recently won a Highly Commended award from Deliciouslyorkshire in their category of Best use of regional produce in a cafe/tearoom 2010-2011
