What’s a British summer garden without those glorious hanging baskets and planters? Here at Walker’s Nurseries you’ll find the widest choice of baskets and planters – and the big bonus is that they are all planted on site by our own lovely expert, Ania. She uses the brightest, best and biggest selection of perfect plants, most of which are specially grown and nurtured here on site.

Walker’s baskets and planters will give you colour where you want it, from May all the way to the start of autumn in October.

Our top tips for keeping your hanging baskets glorious for the summer:

• Keep dead heading flowers to promote new growth.
• Feed with a pot ash fertiliser once a week to help keep your plants blooming. We recommend Levington’s Tomorite, which starts from £2.99.
• Remember to water daily to get your baskets and planters the talk of your neighbours!
• Once October arrives and your summer bedding plants have finished you can return your basket to Walker’s Nurseries – providing it is in good condition, we will deduct £2.00 from a winter basket.
